Packages & pricing
What everything costs. I'm an out-of-network provider, so you pay at each visit and can send a superbill to your insurance.
Superbills and insurance
I don’t contract with insurance companies, so you pay at the time of service. After each visit, you can download a superbill from the client portal. A superbill is an itemized receipt with the standard codes insurance companies use for medical nutrition therapy. You can submit it to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What to know before you count on reimbursement:
- Coverage varies a lot. Some plans reimburse part of the cost, and some reimburse nothing. Many plans require a diagnosis code and a referral from your child’s physician.
- Call your plan first. Ask whether they cover out-of-network medical nutrition therapy (CPT codes 97802 and 97803) by telehealth, and whether they need a physician referral.
- Some things aren’t billable. Messaging, recipe development, and care-coordination letters are not billable to insurance. Package superbills list only the visits themselves, with one line per visit date.
- I can’t guarantee reimbursement, and you’re responsible for the full fee either way.
HSA and FSA
You can usually pay with a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card. Some plans ask for a letter of medical necessity. I can give you a template letter for your child’s physician to review and sign.

Start with a 15-minute call
It’s free. We’ll talk about what’s happening at home and whether I’m the right dietitian for your child. I don’t give clinical advice on this call; that comes after a full assessment.
